Redefining the definition of luxury and what guests are willing to pay for is critical today. The once gold plated finishes, no longer boosts excitement, but rather the opportunity to unplug and discover local cultures and experiences. The challenge we set out with the conceptualisation of Nose Be Resort was to differentiate Leong Group’s offering from the typical cookie cutter hotel and resort approach.


The ambition was to design an environment that promotes and purposefully drive wellbeing, sustainability, authenticity and the ultimate connection to place. Embracing the vernacular with architecture inspired by nature while keeping only the essentials to position Madagascar’s natural beauty and culture central to the guest experience.


A truthful, honest brand experience has become critical to avoid a Instagram designed scenes that ends up disappointing guests.  To make people feel at home in whatever domain strengthens the connection between people and the places they share.
